Inselgasthof Nass in Rees

I'm standing with the mobile home in the large parking lot of the Nass fish restaurant and we ate first class. With a view of the Rhine.

Dignified restaurant with a large terrace. The staff is attentive and friendly and will be happy to advise you on food and drink choices. The food is freshly prepared from regional products as far as possible, and game dishes are the specialty of the kitchen alongside fish. But also schnitzel or steak, very well prepared, are available. In the afternoon, delicious cakes are offered with coffee. The hotel-restaurant is located in Grietherort directly on the Rhine at a landing stage for the ferry to Grieth on the other side of the Rhine. Great excursion destination for cyclists or hikers. There is enough parking space for cars.

I have been there many times and I have to say very clearly that there is nowhere better fish for me ... we were once in Zandvoort in the officially second best fish restaurant in the whole of the Netherlands and what can I say ?? A joke about the food here ... Highly recommended for fish lovers ... please keep it up ...

We were there for the first time yesterday. We are very enthusiastic, the food was a dream. I haven't eaten such a delicious fish in a long time. The service was very attentive and friendly, and she made her work fun. The prices are reasonable.

Very nice the location on the Rhine almost to the ferry, hotel and restaurant and outdoor catering.

Good restaurant with a shady terrace It is pleasant to be able to sit on a terrace at over 30 degrees Celsius, which is surrounded by tall beech trees that provide enough shade. If you are then served nicely and the food tastes good, you eat and are satisfied. The rich selection of fish specialties and the tasty preparation convince the discerning guest. A drive to this remote location is well worth it. The nearby campsite is not noticed negatively. The restaurant should improve its technical equipment and allow payment by credit card at the table. To pay I had to go to the cash desk in the interior, where only the EC or Girocard is accepted .... I noticed that most of the guests paid with cash, and that in "Corona times" ....

The best fish restaurant on the Lower Rhine. A family business that can only be recommended. Wonderful location right on the Rhine. However, you should reserve.

Delicious eaten yesterday. The senior counter with fish suggests a modest meal, but my mother and I had had more than enough of it together. A delicious salad consisting of various vegetables that have been given attention. Very friendly staff.

Based on the good reviews I went here and was not disappointed. They know how to prepare fish here. But also have meat dishes. Price / performance good!

Very first-class dishes, a large selection of drinks, a large space and a terrace. Friendly staff, old-fashioned ambience, toilets clean (old). Despite fewer appearances, you would have to give 6 stars for the fish dishes alone. We are back soon !!

The waitress wanted to take our order, but it was listless, somewhat taciturn and not exactly friendly. When she took the order, I said that the waitress was not nice from that point on, she improved in terms of friendliness. The salad consisted of lots of green lettuce, 1 slice of tomato. The food was good overall. The environment too.

A very good restaurant with an attractive menu. The operation, even under difficult conditions (Corona time), was super friendly and courteous. We feel in good hands. The portions are very rich and the prices absolutely right. Highly recommended.

Always high quality food. Nice staff. Has a very "Old Rhine" culture feeling that fits great into the region.

Way overrated. Service was bad, food was OK flavor-wise, but looked like no attention was paid to how it was presented. Prices are too high for the quality.

Very nice and idyllic location, excellent food, nice rooms, very clean and with great views of the Rhine and the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable here 4 days, and will definitely be back. Super Family Wet, keep it up

You will definitely not go hungry at Nass. I would recommend skipping the starter as you get a fairly large salad as a starter if you just order a main course. I ordered lemon sole rolls filled with salmon, in a saffron sauce. It was very nice. The sauce might taste more like butter than like saffron, but it was nice and creamy and accompanied the fish very well. Service was also good. I would recommend this restaurant.

When you the long drive to Nass , you will be rewarded with a spectacular location and top seafood! Well worth going there!

The food here is surprisingly good! The service is adequate and the view over the Rhein is a big plus. If you have the time before or after your meal and the weather plays along, take the ferry (stops right in front of the restaurant) across the river and go for a walk in the little town (Grieth) on the other side. It's adorably picturesque and a nice snapshot of life in the region.

Very delicious fish, low price. The service and the ambiance is very modest. Reservation needed! Last time I was there the salmon was sold out :(
